Longtime high school secretary Elaine Robison has died

Elaine Robison, a well-known secretary in the high school office, died July 12.

Elaine Robison, a secretary in the high school office, died on the morning of July 12. She had worked at Lab since 1999.

A memorial will be held for her on July 18 from 6-9 p.m. At Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church on July 19, a wake will be held at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m.

In an email to the school community that afternoon, Director Tori Jueds reflected on Ms. Robison’s joyful spirit that she shared with everyone who entered the high school office.

Away from school, Ms. Robison was a dedicated member of the Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church and sang gospel music, both with her church choir and with the musical group “Endowed.” Ms. Robison also founded The Natalie Ford Project: Women Behind Bars in 2017 in honor of her late daughter.

Ms. Robison’s family established an online fundraiser to help pay for medical expenses. 

The U-High Midway plans to publish a full remembrance of Ms. Robison at a later date.
