U-High Midway

Katerina Lopez
I first joined the U-High Midway staff as a freshman in Beginning Journalism. Since then I have been a reporter as well as an assistant editor. My favorite part about journalism is expressing my opinions through op-ed pieces. The best story I wrote was an opinion piece on women's rights to birth control.
Honors: 2018 Quill & Scroll Writing, Photography, and Multimedia Contest: Honorable Mention, opinion column
