I first joined the U-High Midway stand as a freshman in the Beginning Journalism program. It has been a long tradition in my family to be in the journalism program (my mother, aunt and uncle were all in the journalism program here). I was previously the arts editor and currently I am a deputy editor. I love being on the staff because of my amazing fellow staff members -- they make all the long nights worth it! My best story was "Art AIDS" America, or my interview with UChicago Law Professor Geoffrey Stone. In addition to being on the Midway staff, I am also heavily involved with Save the Children Action Network, political advocacy and reading. I could binge the heck out of any next Netflix show.
