Michael Rubin, Managing Editor
I first joined the U-High Midway staff as a sophomore in the Accelerated Beginning Journalism program. Since then I have served as reporter, assistant editor and managing editor. My favorite part of journalism is interviewing sources for different articles because you are able to delve into the topic you are writing about and talk to people who are most passionate about it. In addition to working for the Midway, I am also involved in the Model United Nations team, Student Council, Peer Leading, and the Maroon Key Society. Outside of school, I am the regional president for Chicago United Synagogue Youth.
