Best cluck for you buck: Here are Chicago’s best chicken sandwiches
There are not many comfort foods Americans love more than fried chicken. Even better, the crispy fried chicken sandwich, fit between a warm bun topped with sauce and pickles and easy to eat anywhere. It seems like the perfect meal wherever one may be. Different components can “make or break” its taste. But what exactly makes the best fried chicken sandwich? The crispiness of the breading? Fluffiness of the bun? Or maybe the sauce that adds just the right amount of spice. To find it out, Midway staffers tried three sandwiches popular throughout Chicagoland.
