The 2023 Chicago NASCAR Festival: concerts, sales and more

The 2023 Chicago NASCAR festival on July 1-2 promises to be more than just races by and for speed enthusiasts.

In addition to two days of high-speed racing along speedways built for the festival, events will also include a lineup of four big-name musical artists, driver autograph tables, Q&A sessions, sales of NASCAR and concert merchandise, photo opportunities, and interactive exhibits.

As a nod to Chicago, organizers have named the races “Grant Park 220” and “The Loop 121,” and have a question and answer page available online that includes information about how the festival will affect the city. Portions of Grant Park, Millennium Park, Maggie Daley Park and Museum Campus will remain open to the public throughout the festival.

Options for ticket purchase include general admission, reserved seats, and various premium seating. All ticket options include admission to races as well as shows and entertainment. Free activities associated with the festival will also be held on Butler Field.

The musical lineup on July 1 will include electronic duo The Chainsmokers and rock band The Black Crowes following Xfinity Series and Cup Series practice and qualifying races. The exact times for the concerts will be posted on the festival website in the next few weeks.

July 2, ahead of the Cup Series street race, country musician Charley Crockett will open for Miranda Lambert, who will headline a full-length concert. The time for this concert is to be announced as well.
