Influencers must be cautious with their upload, especially during pandemic

Stuck in their bedroom with nothing to do, a typical teenager scrolls through social media and is immediately faced with unmasked influencers alongside friends in public who all seem to be completely unaware of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Influencers should recognize their ability to control the way children and teenagers act and, therefore, must take caution in what content they upload online.
According to Sprout Social, 72% of Instagram users and 69% of Snapchat users are ages 13-17. Indeed, primarily kids and teenagers are using social media platforms to follow and look up to their favored content creators. Therefore, if the creators display an irresponsible attitude toward COVID-19, kids are very likely to do the same.
The actions that influencers display online impact the thousands of viewers who watch them on a daily basis. Children should not be exposed to such a careless attitude toward COVID-19, and therefore, influencers must be wary of the content they chose to share with the world.
