Following extreme winter storm warnings, Lab’s emergency communications system has announced that classes on Feb. 2 will be canceled.

Chicago is predicted to receive up to 10 inches of snow, beginning Feb. 1 and lasting through Feb. 2. Governor J.B. Pritzker authorized a disaster proclamation in anticipation of the storm.

This is the first weather-related class cancelation since 2019. No further information has been communicated to U-High students about completing their final exams and projects. Teachers will share their plans and expectations by 9 a.m. on Feb. 2.
