URBAN ROUTE. From Buckingham Fountain to Grant Park to Michigan Avenue, the NASCAR Chicago drivers will make their way through a track that will include views of Lake Michigan and several other Chicago attractions. The front straightaway and pit road will be housed on South Columbus Drive, running along a two-block stretch that will take the race past Buckingham Fountain.

Pulling up downtown: NASCAR hits Windy City

Revved and ready, NASCAR will roll up to Chicago on July 1-2 to host a series of races in the streets of downtown. The event will fill up Grant Park and cause multiple street closures, providing inconvenience and difficulty for many residents of the South Loop, River East, Streeterville and other nearby neighborhoods. Along with the race, a festival with multiple concerts will showcase several big-name artists. Tickets for the different events are on sale now on the NASCAR Chicago website.
