Kylie Carter, Zora Peek-Taylor and Juliana Walker were also named to the ISL All-Conference first team, highlighting their commitment to the sport.
Juliana, also the team’s co-captain, expressed optimism about the way the season ended.
“I would say that it was a little bittersweet, but at the same time everyone was excited even when we lost,” Juliana said. “It was just like a very joyous celebration to end the season.”
Despite many strong players having graduated the previous year, Juliana felt the team played strongly and communicated well from the first game of the season.
“Everybody was so happy and we worked together so well,” Juliana said. “Everyone had so much spirit and it was just so enjoyable and it seemed like that was the start to such a great season.”
