Logan Aimone, Adviser
Logan Aimone, MJE, began teaching and advising at University of Chicago Laboratory High School in January 2015. Previously he was on the School Newspapers Online team, led the National Scholastic Press Association as executive director, and taught journalism for 10 years at Wenatchee (Washington) High School, where his students earned top national honors for newspaper, website and yearbook. He co-wrote two journalism textbooks and has received state and national awards for teaching, advising and freedom of expression. He served nearly seven years on the board of directors of the Student Press Law Center, a Washington, D.C.,-based nonprofit providing free legal resources to student journalists and educators, ending his term by serving as board chair.
