The Class of 2025 elected Krish Khanna class president after a second election was necessary on Oct. 12 due to technical difficulties.

All-School President Brent Pennington stated that due to the server that is normally used not being updated, new students were unable to vote on Oct. 8.

Student Council had to rush to create a new website for ninth graders to vote.

Other class officers are Ayush Mishra, vice president, and Olin Nafziger and Benjamin O’Donnell, Cultural Union representatives. 

Krish has many new ideas to improve life at U-high.

“As ninth grade president, I hope to introduce a series called ‘Tech Talks.’ My goal would be to bring in thought leaders in new fields, such as crypto, blockchain, digital marketing,” Krish said. 

He also said he would like to introduce extra homework time for student athletes as well as new DEI initiatives.
