Henry Benton, Photographer

Henry Benton is a member of the class of 2025 and fondly serves as a photojournalist. He joined the staff as a freshman in 2021. He is a soccer player, tennis player, occasionally dabbles in football and ultimate frisbee. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends, making music, playing Among Us and watching LOTR. Henry values the organizational experience he has gained in working for the journalism team and enjoys hanging out with the other staff members.

With fewer participants since the beginning of the year, Lab’s SHIELD testing program for Covid-19 might shut down. The end of the program raises concerns about infection rates going into the the winter months. “We have to have a certain number of samples in each week in order to keep the program going,” nurse Mary Toledo-Treviño said. “Thats why were trying to just make sure to put it out there to say, please make sure to get tested.”
