Applications for two different youth counselor roles are open until April 1. 

Lab’s Sixth Grade Camp organizers are looking for six junior counselors from sophomores and juniors to go with the sixth graders to camp May 2-May 6. More requirements and the form are on the application.

Summer Lab counselor positions will be available for June 21 to July 30, Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The pay is hourly and ranges from $15-$15.25. 

“It’s more than just a fun summer job, you put yourself in this role as a leader and a role model,” coordinator Meghan Janda said. “It’s a long day working with kids. It’s a lot of work, but if your heart is in it, your long hard days are so worth it. ”

Along with getting students to apply, Ms. Janda wants to spread the word about Summer Lab classes for students through eighth grade, such as Adventure Kids, so that there will be more positions available for students.
