The Class of 2020 didn’t participate in a traditional, in-person graduation ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic, so a graduation event for the class will be held on June 9 at Rockefeller Chapel after the Class of 2022 graduation ceremony.

Dean of Students Ana Campos said this is a way to recognize and honor these students’ time at Lab since a formal graduation was not possible in 2020. 

The event will not only be honoring the students but also faculty who retired in 2020. After the event, there will be a reception for the Class of 2020, their family and their peers using the money the class members had originally raised for prom. 

“It’s really about just getting everyone together,” Ms. Campos said.
