Six students have new leadership positions for the U-High Midway.

Four students have been newly selected as assistant editors and two new students were selected as audience engagement managers this year.

Chloe Alexander, Mia Lipson, Clare McRoberts and Katie Sasamoto-Kurisu are the new assistant editors. Assistant editors offer support with all aspects of publications.

Clare, a sophomore, said, “I’m really excited to work with my peers to make a great paper and to share important information to Lab.”

The newly named role of audience engagement managers, formerly content managers, has been filled by Zara Siddique and Victoria Washington. The audience engagement managers are responsible for managing the Midway’s presence on different social media platforms.

After taking a careful look at the Google Form submissions the applicants filled, the editors-in-chief, as a group, made the decision to give these six students the positions they wanted.

Editor-in-Chief Téa Tamburo, a senior, looks forward to the students learning in their new leadership roles.

She said, “I think that even if it doesn’t go perfectly the first time, it’s still a really great learning experience.”
