Referencing a comment Mr. Trump made to Black journalists last month about immigrants taking “Black jobs,” she said, “Who’s going to tell him that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those ‘Black jobs?’”
The United Center was filled with bright lights and popular music during the second day of the Democratic National Convention, Aug. 20. Day two featured the affirmation of the official party nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris for president. The speakers of the day criticized former President Donald Trump’s remarks and further endorsed Ms. Harris as the candidate with a “A Bold Vision for America’s Future.”
