STUDENTS TEACHING STUDENTS. Convened in Gordon Parks Assembly Hall, diversity, equity and inclusion peer facilitators Graham Waterstraat, Mikaela Ewing, Jayne Marie Crouthamel and Mayher Kaur introduce how to have tough conversations to the 9th grade Oct. 17. Pairs of advisories discussed the community norms, asked questions, and considered various scenarios and how to respond appropriately. Seeing a wide range of responses, senior Mayher Kaur said, “They were honest enough or felt comfortable enough to actually express what they thought.”
