Skye Freeman, Edward Park, Light Dohrn, Kabir Joshi and Jaya Alenghat have received new leadership roles for the U-High Midway.

Four U-High Midway staff members have been selected to be assistant editors, and one has been chosen to be audience engagement manager.

Jaya Alenghat, Light Dohrn, Kabir Joshi and Edward Park are the new assistant editors.

Jaya, a junior, said, “I hope to gain more experience through working with different editors and just learning about what happens behind the scenes when making a paper.”

Junior Skye Freeman is the new audience engagement manager. She hopes to promote the Midway’s content across various social media platforms.

Skye said, “Now that I’m audience engagement manager, I hope to be able to expand our outreach to other schools and professional journalists so we can get our school more well known and respected for our paper.”

Editor-in-Chief Audrey Park said the staff is smaller than previous years.

She said, “So to have more help, in higher positions, like audience engagement and assistant editors is really going to help run things more smoothly.”
