The InFlame History and Economics Journal and the Ouroboros Review literary translation journal are accepting student submissions for their upcoming publications.

InFlame is open for all high school students to submit history papers for its Spring 2021 issue. The deadline for submission is May 21 at 11:59 p.m.

Among other criteria, the paper should be between 4-20 pages and should include proper citations in Chicago Turabian format. All papers are reviewed anonymously and won’t affect future submissions.

“Everyone should go ahead and submit for InFlame. It’s a great way to get any papers that you’re particularly proud of shown to the world. It’s a really great experience and we’ll work with you along the way,” said Saul Arnow, editor-in-chief.

The Ouroboros Review is accepting student literary translations for its next release in 2022.

“The reading period for Ouroboros Review Volume 3, slated for release in the spring of 2022, begins now until Dec. 1, 2021. The next volume is devoted to women of color in translation,” said Maja Teref, faculty adviser.

Students are encouraged to submit literary and creative poems, short stories, essays and other translated works along with a 75-word third-person biography of the translator before Dec. 1 to [email protected] or [email protected].
