The Ethics Bowl team did not advance past the preliminary rounds at the National High School Ethics Bowl competitions hosted at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on April 9.

While the team members did not win any of the four rounds, they believe they have learned from the experience.

“The tournament matches taught us how to better organize our arguments in future cases,” co-captain Abe Callard, a senior, said. “Though Ryan and I will be leaving next year, I’m absolutely confident that the underclassmen in our team will be able to carry on the team and take it to greater heights.”

This was the last Ethics Bowl competition for the year.
