Have you ever wondered how you can help people in need? One way is to donate to the drive to aid students at Benjamin E. Mays School in Englewood with monetary, non-perishable foods, clothing donations and things such as backpacks.

The drive that U-High sophomore Nash McKeague is facilitating will help students at the school and will provide them with unavailable necessities.

Students can donate things to help the students at Englewood and make sure they have enough school supplies, food and other necessities.

For Nash’s service hours he felt that he didn’t really connect with the options available, so he decided to do a food drive because he was really passionate about it.

Nash said, “I thought I could really help them out and make an impact with a whole community.”

Nash wants to help people in the best way and because he didn’t connect with the other service options he decided to do this drive.

“There’s a lot of things that they are in need of that we have here and we can supply to them,” Nash said.
