High School principal Stephanie Weber will leave Lab in June 2019 after spending three years at U-High.

“In working hard to make Lab an even more remarkable institution, I find that I have accomplished my primary goals and believe I am leaving the High School in a better and more stable place,” Ms. Weber wrote in an email sent to Lab families on the evening of Nov. 27.

Soon, Lab will begin to search for a new high school principal, aided by a selection committee and separate student and parent advisory boards. Faculty, staff, student and parents will have to opportunity to meet with finalists and contribute thoughts. Director Charlie Abelmann will make the final decision.

Ms. Weber did not indicate her future plans.
