Holiday Bazaar raises money and awareness

Max Garfinkel, Business Manager

The annual Holiday Book Fair and Bazaar was hosted by the Parents Association Dec. 4 and 5.

Students and families from across the campuses participated in the festivities.

Clubs such as Conservative Club, Girl Up, Refugee Club, and U-High Students for Disaster Relief ran stands at the bazaar and sold baked goods, pencils and other trinkets. There was also a pop-up bookstore that was provided by 57th Street Books.

Junior Claire Duncan ran a stand to support the Hyde Park Refugee Project.

“The holiday bazaar was super fun, especially because everyone there was raising money for important causes. It brought everyone together to enjoy the festivities,” Claire said.
