U-High’s Model UN won Best Large Delegation, the highest award at the North American Invitational Model United Nations Feb. 13-16.

NAIMUN is the premier conference in North America, which is hosted at Georgetown University. This year over 40 committees came to the competition.

At the competition, MUN members simulated real United Nations committees, working to resolve broad topics in general assemblies or responding to crises in smaller cabinets. 

“This is the first time we have been back in a couple of years,” said Franziska Wild, one of U-High’s three secretary generals, adding that U-High’s large delegation is considered the most competitive category.
