Jayna Rumble, Adviser
Jayna Rumble, MJE, joined the journalism department at University of Chicago Laboratory High School in September 2019. At Lab, she advises U-High Photojournalism and the U-Highlights yearbook staff in addition to teaching Beginning Journalism. Previously, she advised publications and taught journalism and English classes at Troy (Michigan) High School. Before moving to Chicago, she held several roles for the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association, including the summer journalism workshop’s administrative office director as well as a trustee on that organization’s board of directors. Outside of school, she spends lots of time with her family and runs a family and lifestyle photography business.
