Students interested in interacting with prospective students, alumni and donors currently have the chance to become a student ambassador of the The Maroon Key Society. Applications for 2022-23 are due April 15.

The Maroon Key Society is a group of student ambassadors who work with the Alumni Relations and Development office on a variety of outreach initiatives. Student ambassador duties consist of greeting guests coming to the school and working at events including Connections and the Dewey Dance.

The society also connects with Lab alumni. This year they hosted three luncheons highlighting specific alumni and their career paths after graduation.

The society is being enlarged this year to meet growing demand for student ambassadors.
Those accepted will be announced in late May. Applicants will list two Lab adults to recommend them.

Priya Laroia, one of the supervisors of the Maroon Key Society, wants ambassadors who are engaged with and interested in the community.

She said, “We’re looking just for outgoing people who want to present Lab in its best light to admissions guests and other guests who come to the school.”
