Celebration of life to be March 12

Math teacher Christopher Freeman’s life and legacy will be celebrated April 8 on Zoom. The original in-person celebration of life was scheduled to take place March, 2019 but was canceled due to COVID-19.

Update, March 10: The event to celebrate the life of Christopher Freeman has been postponed. The university has canceled, due to the coronavirus, all events on campus which involve the gathering of more than 100 people.

A celebration of the life of Chris Freeman will be March 12 at 4 p.m. in the Gordon Parks Arts Hall. A reception will follow the ceremony.

Mr. Freeman had taught math at Lab since 1994, most recently at the middle school.
