The annual end-of-year celebration, Labstock, will take place on June 6, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Scammon Garden. Students who wish to perform can sign up until May 30 using a form provided by the Cultural Union, the event sponsor.
The celebration will feature many activities, such as live music performed by students, board games, and a barbecue. Cultural Union President Daniel Wu said the performance space will be in a new location to make foot traffic easier.
“Last year the performance space was wedged between the food spaces, and it was kind of hard to pass through that area,” he said.
Sophomore Jianna Hong attended last year and looks forward to singing in her performance this year.
“It was really fun and there were a lot of activities, and it was just a good way for our community to gather at the end of the school year,” Jianna said. “I’m excited to perform and just contribute this year.”
