To express support for former biology teacher Daniel Bobo-Jones, who was no longer teaching at Lab effective Jan. 8, students wrote messages on nearly 90 posters hanging on lockers throughout the high school. Student organizers publicized the show of support on Facebook and handed out posters beginning with “To me, Mr. Jones is…” on Jan. 10. In response to the post, Lab alumni showed support by having current students write their messages.

Senior Alex Stevanovich, one of the organizers, said their intention was to show how important Mr. Jones is to the Lab community.

“We just thought if we could get everybody to put something on their locker, it’d be a very easy, simple way to say, ‘Hey Mr. Jones, we appreciate you,’” Alex said.
