What new ideas, projects or initiatives do you have?
“Some events I would like to plan this year are multiple social events where students can eat, talk and play, as well as some community-building events. I also want to create bills that will actually affect students’ day to day lives making their experience at Lab more enjoyable.”
What is your main goal and how do you plan realistically to achieve it?
“My main goal this year is to build memorable experiences throughout the student body. I plan to do this through engaging events and activities, which will foster community and connection throughout the high school.”
What experiences, skills and other qualifications make you a good candidate for this position?
“I am extremely goal-oriented and focused on making the school a better, more enjoyable space where people can share their ideas and be heard. I am also very involved within the student body, being part of various clubs as well as playing basketball in school as well.”
What is a change in the school this year that you disagreed with or would like to see remedied?
“A change that I disagreed with this year was some aspects of the phone policy, specifically still not being able to use your phone until 3:30, even if you didn’t have any more classes. I would like this part of the phone ban to be changed as once a student is done with classes for the day the phone ban does not make sense.”
How will you communicate the concerns of students to the administration?
“I will communicate the concerns of students to the administration by bringing these issues to light in the weekly Student Council meetings, as well as scheduling meetings with admin as needed.”
