What ideas, projects or initiatives do you have for next year? What is your main goal?
For next year, I want to implement a free period room finder to make it easier to find places to sit during your free periods. I also want to plan fun events such as a beach party at the end of this year, a boba social and a cooking competition. My main goal is to build off of this year and learn from what we did this year.
What experiences, skills and other qualifications make you a good candidate for this position?
Being the president this year of ninth grade, it helped me truly learn how Student Council runs. I think my experience from this year and the mistakes that happened will help me because I will know what those mistakes are and how to fix them. This year, we also planned super successful and fun events, and I think it will carry on to next year.
How do you plan on being the voice of students while working in conjunction with faculty and admin?
Definitely talking with other students. I talk to a lot of kids and get insight on events and things that they want to change. I also have good relationships with the teachers, being able to implement change fast.
