U-High Midway

Téa Tamburo
I first joined the U-High Midway staff as a ninth grader in the Beginning Journalism program during the 2019-20 school year. Since then I have served as a reporter. My favorite part of being on staff is connecting with members of the community whom I wouldn't normally interact with. My favorite story was a news story called “Ninth grader starts petition to decrease homework load, increase class time.” In addition to working for the Midway, I enjoy working on the N-12 wellness Council, GirlUp and Students with Disabilities Association and playing for the girls' tennis team. Outside of school, I enjoy baking and fashion designing.
